Anyone know if he’s on the “mainline” or whether he’s on a protective custody/special needs yard? (I only know of these terms from watching prison vids on YT.) I was under the impression that guys like him (women beaters) can’t “walk” a mainline yard.
Also, if he’s not in PC or on a SNY what race does he clique up with? Is he programming or gang banging?
I'm a CO in NYS. In NY, rapists and woman beaters live in general population for the most part. Rapists in general aren't popular, and the other inmates treat them with disrespect and don't associate with them, but they don't assault them for the most part.
I'm guessing that War Machine is in some sort of segregated unit (in NY it's called APPU), not because he was a woman beater, but because of his fame. Putting a high profile inmate like him in GP would be a death sentence, as another inmate will attack him to build up their reputation among other inmates.
Oh, and I'm also guessing that he reason he got married is because he wants to be moved to a facility that has as FRP program (aka conjugal visits). To get a FRP visit you have to be legally married, which is why a lot of cons will marry some chick they don't even know from the street.
On a side note, there was an inmate at a facility I was at when I was a rookie, that all the officers and cons called guy. The sick fuck was doing Life without Parole, and would have his biological mother visit him every 3 months, and they would have a 2 day fuck fest. I wish I was making this up, but sadly I'm not lol!
