What's putting strain on us is not the virus but the restrictions in place.
For instance, where I live, a hardware store refused to sell a customer some sheeting to fix his roof because it was 'not an essential item' and he needed to go to the police station to get a signed document in order to buy this.
The same would happen to me or anyone else too, but this will be lifted tomorrow. People with burst geysers, broken down vehicles, pipes etc were all screwed.
Another case, someone wanted to buy a blender at the store, but they could not, the sale was not allowed because it was not classified as an 'essential item' according to the lockdown rules. Same would have applied to me if I dared try buy a 'non-essential' appliance.
Alcohol and cigarettes are still banned and there's already an underground market for these items at massively inflated prices. And so the police are already 'raiding' these places instead of actually going after real criminals.
There's also an 8 pm - 5 am curfew will all military now 'deployed'.
Not to mention that most businesses are completely shut-down and might never be able to open again and all those employees will lose their jobs. Shops are already getting looted for food and restaurants for alcohol.
And no one knows when regular businesses will be able to open again, already been over a month.
The world is suddenly becoming a communist nightmare because of this virus from China.
That sucks man,hang in there.
We are a month and half into the abuse here.
Had curfew every day 5pm-5am and all weekends Friday-Monday non stop.
They are slowly reducing the terror and businesses opening.
But I don't trust them and I suspect they will start imprisoning us again later.
We don't have any restrictions on buying anything though .
This is Serbia, where are you at?
