Here is how the Las Vegas Casino's will be changing when you go to them, or at least the concept...

I think I got COVID in February.  While I was sick for a longer time than I had ever been - literally in my life [20 days] - I don't think it was much worse than a sustained cold.  For me, at least.  And since I had never been sick like that in my life, and since I NEVER get sick...I do believe I already got this mystery virus.

I'm intrigued by this though...it's really making me think who really has the power in the world.

It just makes me wonder what the true wealth is of other heads of state, and old money families like the Rothschilds, and other mystery figures.  Even Bill Gates probably has loads of cash stashed away that isn't in any of the reported figures of his net worth.

I'm just not clear who is "winning" as a result of this virus.  I heard that the airline and cruise ship industries may go bankrupt as a result of this.  And I would have to think that a LOT of money is behind those industries...so how come their financial clout isn't preventing their own demise?

No way. No way on earth. There's way too much money involved. Never underestimate Americans' ability to find a way when there's money to be made. Vegas is not going to let billions and billions just disappear. I'd go to Vegas now. Respiratory diseases go through the nose, mouth, and eyes; and exposure through open wounds, just like the flu. Wearing a mask, using band-aids on wounds, and not touching your eyes without washing your hands, as well as not being an old, sickly, fat fuk dramatically decreases your chance. And if you do get, you coast for a couple of weeks and then back to normal.

Just like when many here say that commercial gyms will be no more. LOL. Not everybody has a free garage to set up a gym. Most young people, the largest group that goes to the gym regularly, live in apartments and condos and just have no room to set up a decent home gym. And many go partly because of the social environment. I don't party or club so a lot of my friends and contacts are people that I see regularly in the gym. Men are not like women and don't socialize by yakking on the phone for hours. They prefer to interact and bond by their shared interests in person.

How do you get the virus when you are the only one who is touching your phone? How do gloves protect you?  If you touch something that has the virus it's now on your glove. You would still have to wash your gloved hands before you can touch your nose or rub your eyes in which case makes gloves superfluously unless you have a rash or dry cracked skin. Gloves are intended to be single-use only.

I have yet to read all of the above regarding the future of LV, but here's my ten-cents worth anyway (as mentioned to Pellius in a PM).

Here's what I think about LV's recovery ... but I ain't no great thinker when it comes to this subject .. so take it with a grain of salt.

As of this moment ... a couple of the Strip hotels ae thinking about opening up mid-May under a number of objections  among political personalities.

At present there are two 'thoughts' going on. Here are the extremes of each ....

Extreme 1st 'thought' - Let's get the economy back on its feet and open up the Strip!

Extreme 2nd 'thought' - Fuck the economy, let's stay closed and save the people!

I personally think that something in between the above two 'thoughts' will eventually take place ... but with lots of caution over a period of time which is presently unknown by anyone.

I say 'caution' because LV doesn't want to be eventually known as the sin city that initiated a second pandemic worse than the first.

And as far as the 'time' factor .....  It will gradually conclude when a vaccine is available that is proven to protect every individual who wants to travel once again to any worldwide location and is ready, willing, and able to take the vaccine shot. (There's a song in that Hamilton Broadway play which the governments throughout the world will use to encourage everyone to do so!  My best guess.)

I'm a pessimist so I think that is going to take two full years at least before that vaccine proves to be the end Coronavirus.

And then ... and only then ... will Vegas be back on its feet in full force.

Until then, I'm practicing with loaded dice!

But the big question is .... What about the buffets and the houses of ill repute scattered all over the state and a 40 minute drive  outside of town!

as soon as my gym reopens i am going back i am not afraid of coranal virus, only liberal pussies are, with small brain capactiy, and yes i work in health care, and have been working since whole pandemic started,  i cant believe all these whiny fucks, saying they are afraid of dying because they are going to work, a female nurse friend of mine has been putting in 70 to 80 hr weeks, she is on the front lines and she isnt complaing or calling off.   fuck you liberals.

You don't mention whether either of them are wearing masks. Assuming they weren't wearing them,  then unfortunately it was most likely the pretty who gave him the virus. If he's only one touching his phone, wearing gloves is unnecessary. Unless he touched other surfaces and then touched his face, it should not be a problem.  Single use gloves are to be worn once. The correct process of removing them minimizes coming in contact with the exterior surface of the gloves which is were they'd be contaminated.

I tend to touch my face a lot. Because of the current circumstances, I make every effort not to do this unless I am at home and have recently washed my hands. Back when I worked in an elementary school, which are germ factories, I avoided catching illnesses from the kids with frequent hand washing. It seemed to work. Once I got past that first year, I never got sick.
