Dorian was injured, he was beat to shit...
Dorian would have to have been in prime shape (1993) with no bicep tear or other injuries to beat ronnie in 1998... Even then I think ronnie probably has the edge and ronnie was even better in 99.
I can't fathom how a 2003 Ronnie Coleman, at 287-lb with shredded glutes, wouldn't have beaten Dorian Yates. I suspect Dorian was around 255- to 260-lb in 1993, at the same height as Ronnie [5'10.5"].
Of course Ronnie Coleman in 1998 and 1999 looked incredible in a much different way [lighter, while obviously still being massive, and more shredded than most of his contest showings from 2000 or later], but the 2003 Mr. Olympia, along with the 2004 British Grand Prix, were the versions of Ronnie Coleman that impressed me the most. No other bodybuilder was 300-lb [2004] while having shredded glutes like that, aside from bodybuilders well over six feet tall.
