My wife, my daughter and I got tested over a week ago. Fucking Labcorp still does not have the results yet. None of us have any symptoms.
But my daughters boyfriend tested positive and she was sick too but never got tested.

It's Labcorp they claim 3-7 days it's been over a week. I emailed them yesterday. Think they are bogged down here in South Florida.

You said you had Covid already. If that's the case you have antibodies and that's what the test measures the presence of. Ergo- if the test keeps coming back negative on a positive patient it is useless.

The test can't discriminate between antibodies caused by the common cold either. So you can test positive and still not have Covid.

Riddle me this.  I personally know 11 people who have had Covid-19.  Not counting RobC & SF.  4 of the 11 made it to the ICU.  One of those four was on the brink of being intubated but thankfully pulled through.  Another of those 4 passed away.  Now, I'm 46 years old.  I've conservatively known thousands of people who have had the flu over the course of 46 years.  I only know one person who has ever been to the ER because of Flu symptoms.  He survived.  To what do you attribute my experiences to?

No HIV tests, although I was tested for all STDs last year just for the hell of it and came back negative.
