Same here.  I've asked before but how can you possibly explain to a non fan that the guy on the left is Mr. Olympia and better than the guy on the right?

Just not a fan of current day bodybuilding. It seems like soft bloated muscle instead of dense hard muscle.

I like Phil’s build much better than ramys.being narrower his muscle looks more.ramy is so big and spread out.i like the so much muscle look that it looks awkward on him look over big and spread out.

Yes, Phil is better from the back but not to the degree that offsets how much Ramy crushes him from the front.

Well, it just goes to show how subjective bbing is. For most, it is blatantly obvious. I mean, just on gut alone, forget the narrow clavicles and thick obliques. But you can have your opinion and the judges agreed with you and that's ultimately what counts. Same case with Franco in 1981 and Jay vs Victor in 2007. The people saw it
differently.

These kinds of chasms between popular opinion and often politically motivated judging is doing bbing any favors.

ramy might have looked better in 2 poses, that's it

phil was much harder and much more complete, this was an off phil but he was the clear winner

ramy is too soft and too unbalanced
