Not done? Hahaha dude, you're an insecure old man who acts like a BITCH, a sniffling little BITCH on a bodybuilding mag board.
You've always been free to contact me, yet all you do is run your fingers on these main boards.

How's that lung cancer? Maybe you shoulda thought about that when you were huffing gas and smoking crack for decades straight. Your wife start up her POF account yet? Or she just go straight to blow-banging the garbage men for the time being?

Yeah, I'm sure you've accomplished more than Arnold and Eastwood.

At least I've accomplished SOMETHING, because I actually TRY. The same cannot be said for many others here.

I took the test while I imagined I was tbombz, and this was the result:

Campaigner Personality

The Campaigner personality is a true free spirit. They are often the life of the party, but unlike types in the Explorer Role group, Campaigners are less interested in the sheer excitement and pleasure of the moment than they are in enjoying the social and emotional connections they make with others. Charming, independent, energetic and compassionate, the 7% of the population that they comprise can certainly be felt in any crowd.

More than just sociable people-pleasers though, Campaigners, like all their Diplomat cousins, are shaped by their Intuitive (N) quality, allowing them to read between the lines with curiosity and energy. They tend to see life as a big, complex puzzle where everything is connected – but unlike Analyst personality types, who tend to see that puzzle as a series of systemic machinations, Campaigners see it through a prism of emotion, compassion and mysticism, and are always looking for a deeper meaning.

Many other types are likely to find these qualities irresistible, and if they’ve found a cause that sparks their imagination, Campaigners will bring an energy that oftentimes thrusts them into the spotlight, held up by their peers as a leader and a guru – but this isn’t always where independence-loving Campaigners want to be. Worse still if they find themselves beset by the administrative tasks and routine maintenance that can accompany a leadership position. Campaigners’ self-esteem is dependent on their ability to come up with original solutions, and they need to know that they have the freedom to be innovative – they can quickly lose patience or become dejected if they get trapped in a boring role.

Luckily, Campaigners know how to relax, and they are perfectly capable of switching from a passionate, driven idealist in the workplace to that imaginative and enthusiastic free spirit on the dance floor, often with a suddenness that can surprise even their closest friends. Being in the mix also gives them a chance to connect emotionally with others, giving them cherished insight into what motivates their friends and colleagues. They believe that everyone should take the time to recognize and express their feelings, and their empathy and sociability make that a natural conversation topic.

The Campaigner personality type needs to be careful, however – if they rely too much on their intuition, assume or anticipate too much about a friend’s motivations, they can misread the signals and frustrate plans that a more straightforward approach would have made simple. This kind of social stress is the bugbear that keeps harmony-focused Diplomats awake at night. Campaigners are very emotional and sensitive, and when they step on someone’s toes, they both feel it.

Campaigners will spend a lot of time exploring social relationships, feelings and ideas before they find something that really rings true. But when they finally do find their place in the world, their imagination, empathy and courage are likely to produce incredible results.

MBP has poor reliability and validity. It really says nothing about one's personality.

I've had to do it for three different jobs, and got three different results.  So yeah, I'd say it's a pile of shit.  Two other companies (actually same place, but there was an acquisition) after hire tried to improve our salesforce by testing and training us with 3 different types of these tests so they could figure out the traits of those of us that were good to great at what we did, and they were all shit too for the most part.  One was pretty close as far as the overall assessment, but I don't remember the name of it.  Basically, all of them said I was a dick as part of the outcome though so they all got that right.  The only one I've ever been blown away by was after working at Gallup for a little over a year at that point they came out with their Strengths Finder test, and let us all do it for free and gave us all that did a free copy of "Soar with Your Strengths".  When I got my printout of the results, I was blown away.  I was like damn, that is 100% me!  Maybe that is why I was so sour about the others is that the Gallup one was the first one I'd ever done, and it pegged me perfectly which made the others a let down.  Also Gallup's doesn't just say "hey, this is who/what you are", but it focuses on your strengths, describes them, and gives you an idea of how to become better using each one both professionally and as a person.

Personality tests are a huge industry. A new documentary suggests they conceal a dark trut

Large international companies are using these tests to rank people for promotions.

I worked for a large Energy company a few years ago that would refuse people raises and promotions based on the results of these tests. People were moved to different teams based on their scores, to help "balance" out the energy of the team.

We also had to be "shamed" by posting the results on the doors to our offices so people knew our personality.

That's pretty fucked up, specially in a department full of engineers and geologists.

There's a reason we got real degrees and not Language Arts or History degrees. ;D

Now those personality tests will take a backside to race and gender qualifications.  A transgendered black lesbian will be promoted over everyone now.

ESTJ but the questions are so vague.  When they say "people" they don't reference what people. Strangers, family, friends??? Who else?

Some of the questions I would have answered differently 10 years ago.  Do I want to go to hang out with people on a Friday night?  Not now, but 10 years ago, hell yes, but again what people do I want to hang out with?  Who specifically?  It's more of a personality snapshot of the time you take the test because I'm sure as people grow older and their lives change so will the answer to a lot of the questions.

The same company i was talking about did the 50/50 male/female workforce goal about 6 years ago. Today they are still about 70/30 male.

I watched many men get passed up by females for promotions. They also hired primarily minority women straight out of college for about 2 years. I think they found out that these types typically don't have the same work ethic and put a stop to that.

They also didn't factor in that they gave women 6 months of paid maternity leave if they had a child. Also, a guarantee that a spot would be open when they came back. It was amazing how many women would leave for a few months and then come back to a position where the man had just been laid off a few months prior.

It was so bad that people started mentioning this at town hall meetings in front of the executive leadership team. They never would touch those questions. ;D

I got in trouble once, they had this company wide communication device where people posted ideas for the company and others could respond, almost like FB. They were talking about the 50/50 gender goal and i mentioned that our construction services group (the group i was in) was like 95/5 male; i asked what they were going to do about a balance. ;D Also asked if a person did not specify a gender, how would that be counted.

Got a stern talking to from one of the VP's. The company was about to sell its assets anyway.

What must be infuriating is being an intelligent, hard working and capable engineer getting passed up for promotion by an incompetent diversity hire.

It did make a lot of good people frustrated. I remember the first 3 years i was at the company they did not hire a single person i recommended based on interviews and education. It was always a "management" decision and they hardly ever worked out.

I had this young lady from Bangladesh that worked for me. Most difficult person i've ever worked with. She complained about everything and if it wasn't her way, she would complain to my boss.

She also stunk like she had ran 5 marathons and never showered. I can still smell it in my mind.

We took her into the field for a construction inspection and we had to drive 20 miles just for her to have a clean bathroom to take a piss. It was horrible.

Thankfully she ended up moving out of state with her husband.

My good friend and colleague always joked with me that i would work for her one day. He was probably right.

Yes, but it's not free unless you work for a company that uses it.  I misspoke about the book they gave us.  "Soar With Your Strengths" was the follow up book.  I went in my closet to my book shelf to find the book and tell you the authors names so you could purchase if you want to do it.  The book is "Now, Discover Your Strengths", and it should come with a code to do it online.  If it doesn't say that on the description on Amazon, just post it as a question or scroll through the already asked one's as I'm sure someone has already asked.  The authors are Marcus Buckingham & Donald O. Clifton, Ph.D.  (the latter is either the founder or son of the founder of Gallup) just so you know you've found the right book.

In my case, the book was just being published and wasn't available for purchase.  They (Gallup) set up an isolated computer, and gave us all codes to do it.  I wanna say it was about  weeks later that the books got shipped to our location, and were handed out to us.  It's a hard cover book, and it does mention on the cover "Take Gallup's strengthsfinder.com profile and learn your top "  If a paperback doesn't say that it likely doesn't have a free code.  Inside my book, it says it's $26, but that is when it first came out in 2001.  I'd bet it's cheaper on Amazon now, and since it has been out so long and made tons of profit by now.

I never took that test, but I took the test where you go on the phone they say a statement like I robbed a bank, to which you must answer yes than they say the same thing again which you must answer no. this crap goes on for 25 minutes or so and then they send the result. I had to take the test when the place I worked for got robbed and me and 3 other people had the safe combination. the test showed I was incapable of robbing the place but I wasn't above petty theft. :) :) :)

What kind of “test” was this?

This sounds like your work made it made up and was on the other line trying to get a confession. Lol.

Any intelligent person knows what the "right" answers are for a company test and can adjust their answers accordingly.  If you work in a team environment you aren't going to answer that you prefer being alone and isolated from people.  Just common sense.  The tests are good to take when you are young and trying to figure out what type of job or career would suit you.
