The other country was led by a FUCKING MORON who attempted to employ his usual tactics

1. Totally ignore the problem even after being repeatedly warned
2. Continue to ignore the problem but started downplaying it
3. Starting the next phase of his standard opertating procedure which is lie about it and attempt to ridicule his political opponents
4.  This is the rarely seen stage where he is forced to acknowledge the problem but continue to lie and do nothing
5.  More doing nothing while lying about doing something and also adding in complaining about how people aren't praising him enough
6.  More lies, boredom, stupid suggestions such as injecting yourself with household cleaner
7.  Whine and complain some more while still doing nothing
8.  Provide protocols for when the country can open and then immediately ignore those protocols and suppress additional protocal by the CDC
9.  Suggest that your citizens become "warriors" and expose themselves to a potentially deadly disease in order to prop up your increasingly dismal politicla prospects

and here is the result of that "plan"

yep, that happened.
tell us more about how and why that happened and who made that decision

Also don't forget while that was happening Trump was LYING about the virus and his administrations response just like he's continued to do through the present day

in your own words (without copy and paste from fake news) tell us the lies...but you cant as usual...

My post was my own words except for some excerpts about what exactly South Korea did in the first weeks after they had their first case (no reason not to copy of paste that data as I had previosuly cited it in another post)

Please clarify exactly what part of my post you think is "fake news"

Looking forward to seeing that from you

Your hero posted his opinion of a timeline of events.
BTW, just read South Korea, (maybe your hero should move there?) is closing down again, because they took such huge measures to stomp out he virus. ::)
Herd immunity for the win!!

they are not closing down the country like we did

they are closing down "nightclubs, discos, hostess bars and other similar nightlife establishments in the capital"

they never should have opened those back up in the first place

It's funny that those who criticize him for the state of the economy also want him to continue the lockdown which......hurts the economy.

We're going to continue having a 1000+ people dying from this every day until Trumptard finally figures out that we need NATIONAL PLAN for TESTING, ISOLATION (for positive tests) and CONTACT TRACING

That's the only way to get a handle on this thing

There are now saliva test approved by the FDA which does not require medical personal in PPE to administer.

These tests should be available FREE OF CHARGE in every pharmacy in every Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, etc all over the country

Everyone who wants to work, go to the gym, restaurant, etc.. needs to get tested once a month (i.e spit in a cup) and probably makes sense to do a forehead temperature check for anyone entering a gym, restaurant, etc..

I hear it every day. We need to test 500 million a day. We need to have contact tracing. Ok, what does that look like? Think about what would go into contact tracing each case of COVID,, is it even possible at this national level or is it just a good bumper sticker slogan?

Would you consider "There are 15 cases, it will soon be down to zero cases" as a lie or ignorance of astronomical proportions?
Would you consider "“Anybody that wants a test [for the coronavirus] can get a test.” that he stated on March 6 a lie, or ignorance of astronomical proportions?

Comparing to South Korea is not accurate.

Is there a similar chart comparing the US to the EU?

Optimism.

Regardless of his outlook, his actions were not based on statements like the one above - he listened to Fauci and Birx.

it's a shame that something like this is politicized what happened to we're all Americans. the facts are in my state pa the coronoa killed 2688 compared to the flu killing 102 in a longer period. i think the gov't was slow acting not realizing the consequences. we should keep the country locked down a little longer so that we don't have to do it a second time months from now. just my opinion.

I’ve said repeatedly all governments have made mistakes to some degree, but following the timeline shows earlier lockdown near impossible.  The CDC botching the tests are what put us behind I think.

it's hard to say, i used to think it was strange to see people in other countries walking around with masks on, now it's a common sight in the good old USA.

Fact is your stats are wrong and at this point nobody will know the truth about any of these numbers. Unfortunately far too many Drs have put the Rona down as a cause of death strictly for the money the federal government gives the hospitals.

Do you think Biden/pelosi and all mainstream media that said the ban on China travel Jan 31 was racist be congratulated ?

Its up to the state's to implement tests, the federal government supplies the test kits to the states. NY for example led by a liberal failed miserably to perform the tests.

It is sad that liberals actually think that this has credence, it would be like saying that the $150 billion Obama paid to terrorists  could of fed millions of homeless ?? or it that a true statement ?

i'm just trying to make the point that, that's why we america have to keep our eye on the so-called shit hole countries. because it is from these shit hole countries that viruses  and such originate.

Spending rose to $4.0 trillion or 20.8% GDP in FY2017, the last year budgeted by President Obama. The budget deficit reached 9.9% GDP in 2009, before minimally recovering to 2.1% GDP by 2015, below the historical average (1970–2015) of 2.8% GDP.

During the Obama Administration there were 3 million more people on unemployment than there were available jobs.

During the Trump Administration there are over 2 million more jobs available than people looking for work.

It took a global pandemic and failed gubernatorial policies by blue state to governors to finally slow the Trump economy down to the level of eight years of the failed Obama economic disaster.
