I have a small, relatively complete gym in my garage. I have a stand-alone lat pulldown machine (plate loaded), one of those all-in-one machines with a vertical bench press, lat pulldown, leg extension/curl, lower pully, peck-deck and a dip bar. I also have two stands for when I used to be able to squat and they are capable of holding at least 400 lbs. I also have a couple of saw horses from when I would work on my favorite exercise the squat and for bottom position thick-bar bench presses as I used to have a regular bench and even a seated calf machine. Got ride of those about two or so years ago.
I have a few hundred pounds of plates (standard size) and those annoying threaded dumbells and a few 6 foot bars that are also threaded. I have cable attachments for lat pulldowns, straight bar curls or tricep presssdowns and single handed curls or tricep pushdowns.
Years ago I made up some thick bar handles but no longer use them. I have ordered some of those spring loaded collars for my bars and DBs as I hate threaded and want to be able to add/subtract weight if I ever get strong enough again, LOL!
I tried training a bit yesterday. Five sets of 10 reps each for single arm DB laterals for my shoulders. Then some light bar curls and tricep pressdowns.
Worn out? Yeah...
