Trump leading in battleground states
« on: May 14, 2020, 06:08:19 AM »
https://www.cnn.com/2020/05/13/politics/cnn-poll-2020/index.html

Biden leads nationally but trump leads by 7 points in battleground states in a CNN poll.

This is with Biden doing the best he is going to do campaigning by staying out of sight and giving softball interviews, coronavirus and the economy in the toilet.

I am no trump fan, i voted for Johnson, i agree with a lot of the issues trump highlights but disagree with how he handles them. I feel this might be about as good as it gets for Biden. The more he is in the media the more he will say stupid shit and unless we get a huge second wave of corona and its mortality rate goes up we may have seeing the worst of it especially from an economic stand point.

Yea i think of course he has a chance and to be honest I feel like its or was his to lose which is why he has been absent of late, that and the whole sexual assault allegation.

Though having watched him in the debates and seen the obvious mental decline he has had it makes sense to keep him under wraps as much as possible. That just may not be enough if the economy rebounds and/or we miss a second wave or get some treatment/vaccine/mitigation soon.

Bottom line, the more exposure Joe Biden has to answering off the cuff answers the worse it is for him and this poll says that he needs to start getting out there but trump is still trump and he could blow himself up again and again so who knows.

I didnt think we could get much worse than Hilary and Trump but this election is just dumb as shit, if Joe would have pushed center instead of being pulled bat shit left he would have won pretty easily i think.

Do you think Biden has a chance?

Burisma
$1.5 billion from China
Obamagate
Fast & Furious
Benghazi
Sexual assault
Obama legacy
Senile
Liar/Plagiarist
Family corruption
Dementia

I’d say Biden’s chance = no fucking chance

Wait.  You clearly see Biden's mental decline and you think it should be hidden so he can get elected president??  Shouldn't it be exposed/highlighted so he does NOT get elected president?

I never said it should be hidden, but it is certainly the campaigns preference. The more he is out in public the worse it will be for Joe Biden and the better the economy the better for trump.

I don't underestimate Trump hatred so of course Biden has a chance.

But if Obamagate continues it's trajectory, the allegations don't get dismissed, and his eventual unavoidable increased exposure is the disaster it's been to date, I think people will roll with Trump to rebuild the economy.

Remember, if you don't criticize the current administration 24/7, you're part of the "base".

No doubt.  Vote shaming will be a big part of the 2020 campaign.

I saw Biden stepped up his social media troll game a bit with his tweets about Trump and injecting Lysol and staring at a solar eclipse.

Republicans say Biden is in a mental decline. Democrats say Trump at his sharpest is at best 5th grade level IQ.  Not very good choices for America these days

The comments about Trump's IQ are pretty dumb.

Regarding Biden, any reasonable, objective person listening to him off script trying to talk and answer questions can clearly see he has deteriorated.  It's actually sad to watch.  I'm starting to think there is a real possibility he is not the nominee in November.  Only way he survives is if he is able to avoid the debates and actual campaigning.  I bet he tries.

Do you think Biden knows the password to his Twitter? You can't really think that he can troll anything.

I don't know, watching him string a sentence together without the words tremendous, nasty, bad, great, incredible or fake news is pretty painful.

Fuck no, he’s got a 25 year old intern running that shit.

He gave a speech before the 2016 election that made me think, if he just talked like this and kept this up he could be a great leader. Instead he squandered it. Try googling “Trump slings and arrows speech” if you’d like to listen.

This one's on the left.

Obviously the Republican was going to be the incumbent, so the Democrats have had three years to reboot the party, recognize their mistakes, and develop some young, inspiring candidates.

Instead they went full anti-Trump and focused on his removal 24/7.  Once they realized they only had Bernie or Biden, and Bernie would get wiped, they had to go with Joe fucking Biden.  That's their answer.

Yup.

Here is Joe Biden trying to talk to videotaped comment.

Here is a discussion and compilation showing how incoherent he is:
