Ironic how cell phone clinging, media brainwashed, trend following yuppies always adore movies like The Joker or Taxi Driver.  They are so far detached from actually being original or an outcast that they must experience it through film and media. 

So cliched 34 year old guy, with his first wanna be big time job at $60,000 a year,  his leased BMW and his obligatory bad ass tattoos under his sweater has expensively framed posters of the Joker or Taxi Driver in his overpriced condo he takes his Tinder dates to.

The vast majority of others like OP just enjoy the movie and catch it on HBO,  but a certain type of douchebag becomes infatuated with films like this.
