rusty seems like a good guy, he certainly deserved a higher placing, its too bad he god screwed. that said bob didnt look bad or 'get ow ned' based on what ive seen. i dont have a problem with bob winning, but if he got first, then rusty surely deserved second.

If you can agree that the judging was shady as far as Jeffers, it casts a shadow of doubt upon ALL of the judging results of the contest. Sure, Bob probably deserved the win. But the win is less than legitimate when even Bob admits the judging was weird.

The judging is "weird" at any BB show that has ever been put on, for Christs sake....

I'M the one who submitted for a mandatory number of comparisons per round....This REALLY cracks me up.

When they placed Titus ahead of me, despite never comparing us...I complained about the lack of comparisond...IN THE TOP 5 spots, at that....and the internet crew came flaming..."quit being a poor sport....", "Just take your placing like a man, and quit bitching...."

Bob, will you be making any waves on behalf of Rusty, who got screwed?

As athletes rep, isn't it important to you that a contestant's past might affect his placing? That angers you, right?

I think you should be thankful that Titus won that show. Who knows where you'd be right now if you switched placings with him.

I agree that Rusty should of placed higher. I think many do. Even some judges agree that he should of placed higher. And Chick should raise a case for why Rusty wasnt compared enough.

That being said, I need to see who was compared to who, and since I wasn't there, I don't have that.

Again, one of the judges said that Rusty was soft, which is why he lost a few placings. And others were harder. Could he have seen him in the top 5. No doubt. But sometimes things are overlooked. Ask Garrett Downing on that one.

Was it a conspiracy to keep Rusty down. I don't think so.

And I someone told me that we would be argueing if a guy that got 8th should of placed 5th a week ago, I would of been amused.

Johnnie Stewart, Pavol Jabonicky, Calude Groulx all werent in the best shape either...

No, I won't. If Rusty thinks he got a raw deal...he can complain himself. There is no proof his past affected his placing whatsoever.

Quite contrary....If it's his past you think was a factor in his placing...he would have never been "allowed" to place runner-up at the Nationals to Chris Cook, Nor be "allowed" to win the Masters, nor be "allowed" to turn professional in the first place....

How unique, a competitor thought he should have placed higher at a BB show...go figure.

My Mother thinks I should have won every show I've ever been in...what does that mean??

Claude Groulx had no business in the top 5, that guy has a gut that is the envy of Greg Kovacs and Dave Palumbo, not to mention all the symmetry of a wrecked '78 Pinto.

Second...no. If I were placing based on what I could see on stage, etc. I would have had Pavol in 2, Rusty should have been compared to 3,4,5...I also had Nate Wonsley higher.

Thank god my mom is dead. It took her a whole year to die and an awful allot of money too. Thanks to her my inheritance was allot lower than it should have been. Thanks mom.

Well he is in charge of the athletes and I suppose that if an athlete have a problem with the Ifbb, Bob will represent him

I wouldn't expect Chick to say Rusty should be higher than 3rd because the judges wouldn't let Rusty close enough to Bob for him to get a close look.

But for Ron to sit here and say 99% of the people think Chick won fair and square when an unofficial getbig.com poll had twice as many people thinking Rusty deserved to win is just plain dishonest. Please Ron, tell us that the photos we're looking at are lies. Tell us that Bob was harder than Rusty even though Rusty had better separation and better abs. Try to convince us that even the most casual BB fan wouldn't take one look at the photos and determine that Rusty had the best overall package.

I thought there were a bunch of conspiracy loonies on this site until Ron told us all that we're blind and dumb. Now I'm convinced that the Manion-Ron-Chick Complex is second to the Military-Industrial Complex in its shadiness.

Just talk to the people who were in the audience at the NY Pro. Talk to the photographers who shot the pics there. Talk to the fans there. They are unbiased. And if you think that we all agree with everyone, no way. But in this case, even 240 agrees with me. Stop looking at pics that are not justified. Go back and look at the replay video from the show.

whether someone deserves first or second is always going to be debatable when judging is really just based on looks. that's not the issue here. it's that someone came in 8th rather than 1st or 2nd.

I just like not being a part of being bashed by Chic. My ass is just now getting better. By the way Rusty got ripped off. I find it intersting that someone like Stewart who has a very checkered past is even allowed to compete. And he looked like crap compared to Rusty. I think the scorecards should be hooked up to the internet so whatever the judges put is what everyone sees. Then it would make it harder for any hanky panky to go on. And that is a very very simple procedure. Also from what I read on here alone says the crowd was horribkle at this show. Anyhow I am actually happy for Chic. I'd rather see him win than Shawn.
