What was his goal/purpose?

1. Did he want notoriety before heading to jail? Did he know he was headed to jail either way? If that is the case it's not clever to badmouth "The Bloods".

2. Did he have immense hatred for White Elders? If he had so much hatred , why did he let the old man live? Why document it?

3. Did he try to impress someone?
