As to the question about the clown - I'm not sure.  I don't think I ever saw that photo before.  If I did, I must have completely forgotten about it.

As for Matarazzo - he was definitely a person who suffered a lot of existential regret about bodybuilding competitively in the last decade of his life.

I think it was the 2004 Arnold. Yates didn’t want to announce to the world that his friend enhanced his triceps.... after all, Flex Wheeler enhanced his calves for years, and announcers on TV didn’t try to reveal him to the world

Dorian saying Ernie didn't use Synthol was kind of a lie because most take that as saying Ernie's arms weren't fake. Whether it was Synthol or something else is irrelevant, same shit.

One thing I thought was interesting is that Dorian said he used Esiclene in his upper pecs during preps. I never noticed anything strange with his pecs.

Strangely these abominations might have helped his "career" even though they look absurd. It made him look freakier and bigger overall than he really was.

In some pics you could see skin scarring from injections. You have to do some serious poking for that to happen.

What's going on in this pic is kinda gay and absurd but I like the quality of Brian's photography. Most of today's physique photography is pure shit. Photoshopped to shit.
Even polaroids would be much more pleasant and interesting than the shit I see now.

Brian Moss was creative, different concepts for different days. As a photographer, it is cool to see different ideas, and some work and some don't.  These are just different, which is kinda cool.

How many times can you shoot the same thing, you want to try different ideas.  Some ideas I have had in the past worked really well, and some... well - nope.  That is why each photographer has his or her own style. 

I like these - something different, not the basic usual pic you see.
