Wilton Norman Chamberlain was an incredible athlete.  I only have second-hand knowledge of his abilities via the father of a friend that knew and played summer ball with him.

He would dunk Jordan's dumb travelin' ass with ease.  Not the ball.  Jordan. He could do most anything on a court back then and would do so again today and in any era over the lifetime of basketball.  Jordan is an illiterate fuckwit.  Only David Robinson has a chance but again, Wilt was incredibly powerful and fast.  In his chosen sport, he never fouled out of a game.  Never.  He played more minutes than anyone else.  He averaged over 50 points a game for an entire season.  He could block shots like no one before or since and that included George Mikan, the man widely held responsible for the goal-tending rule.

Blacks represent only 13% of the American population. "Ghetto Blacks" are an even smaller demographic. Nonetheless, Blacks in general are over-represented as Nike buyers at 18%. Whites, about 75% of the American population and though they are under-represented still account for about 67% of Nike buyers. And this is in America only. The gap is much larger through the rest of the world, especially in Asia.

Though I can't relate to this, my friend is a Jordan collector and belongs to a club. They're the ones that stand in line overnight to buy the latest. He can look at a shoe and tell you the model, year, and story behind that shoe. He brags how he has inside information when a coveted shoe will go on sale. There are about 225 active members in that club. Only three are Black and are hardly "Ghetto Blacks" as we, thankfully, don't have them here. Olajuwon was a freak of nature, its highly unusual for people to pickup basketball so late and make the nba, those that have done it have 1 in 10 million genes, and they all came from countries where basketball hoops are a rare sight, usually african countries..Thing with football (soccer), is that you only need a ball and a couple shirts for goalposts and you can play.Half the world or more its the number 1 game and every kid has kicked a ball by the age of 3 and its obvious by around 10 who has an aptitude for it without even seeing them in an organised game.Outside the phillipines and lithuania basketball isnt the number 1 sport in any of the countries in the world.
