I'm not in the US and can't claim to know a great deal about US history or social politics, but, serious question.... does this type of behaviour actually help anyone?

Genuinely curious. To me, these people kneeling aren't the people who the black community have an argument with.

why are white people apologizing?  for what?

what do they contribute to our world?  how do we benefit in any way by apologizing to them when they have no power over us?  apologize for slavery 100's of years ago?  my grandparents immigrated from europe in the early 1900's so what do i need to apologize for?

why aren't they apologizing to us for the constant terror they cause?  not even black people want to live among them when they have success, they should feel lucky to be here instead of africa
