Black Entertainment Television founder Robert Johnson say $14 TRILLION of reparations should be paid to black people for slavery

Robert Johnson, the founder of Black Entertainment Television (BET), is asking for federal reparations to be made for slavery as national protests and outrage continues following the death of George Floyd.

Johnson, 74,  told CNBC on Monday that the U.S. government should make $14 trillion available for reparations for the black community.

He said that the money would help to reduce the 'systemic racial inequality' that stems from the  country's history of slavery.

Its not as easy as cutting a check, first you have to prove you are a descendant of a slave, then you have to provide paperwork that shows you weren't sold into slavery by a tribal chief, you had to be kidnapped. If you can prove that than it needs to be determined what percentage of African American you are.

I can't see how they make this a racial issue, it's a money issue.

So it seems to me the alternative to becoming a slave was to becoming dead.

Black people sold slaves - white slaves or black slaves (from other tribes) Its not like they stopped and said "oh I would be earning a lot of money on these black slaves from our enemy tribes... but since they too have black skin, I can't go ahead and sell them! that would be RACISM!"
