First of all former secret service would be excellent sources of information on matters concerning the safety and security of the POTUS considering active secret service are forbidden from commenting or answering questions.

Second no, his statement does not mean Trumps version of what happened had to be false. It does lend the idea quite a bit of credibility though.

Third security of the president is serious business and if the situation seemed dangerous he absolutely should be moved to a secure environment. That the media sensationalized the whole thing to make him look bad is par for the course. Trump cannot handle criticism and that is a huge character flaw that his detractors use against him. Over and over... Trump is simply in over his head. Politics are not his bag.

Fourth I ask you this, is it more likely that, given the circumstances, Trump was moved to a secure location or that he decided it was high time to go inspecting where he might have to hide out? Please refer back to the statement made by secret service agent (former secret service.) Lets also take into consideration Trumps character and proven track record. If Trump is an honest man then he is obviously telling the truth...connect the dots.
