But what was the draw really? What did he do? Stay high, drive around delivering gear packages, drive-through in the middle of the night, lots of ice cream, what else? I guess there could be some allure to the lifestyle especially if people think the guy is loaded and has stripper type girlfriends around.
I think part of what it was is that he came along at a good time for his type of video. It appealed to a lot of teens and twenty-somethings that weren't into the game long. Before him, you had Blaha, Norton, Lobliner, etc.... trying to be scientific, sometimes looking like shit, etc..., and up pops this giant, odd, roid monster that acts like a 20 year old, and promises you the secrets.
He tapped into the "freak show" market and the "forbidden knowledge" portions of youtube.
A guy like Titus would've done great too.
