This won’t happen.

There’s a line 50 deep just to shop at Ross by me. People are so desperate to shop in store they’re waiting to get into ROSS.

When Bush was in charge and fuel prices were sky high there were gas boycott days. I think I read people actually bought more gas those days.

Lol at boycotting online shopping. I’ve purchased at least 4-6 items from amazon in the last 3-5 days.

Thinking about it, what Amazon has put together is unreal. You can pretty much get any item with the click of a button. As if, people are really going to boycott online shopping.

Their shipping is a crap shoot, eh? Last order at least it told me what was what and I could cancel various items. In the past it was all shrouded in bullshit. Expensive bullshit. Retarded that there isn't a slow-boat option. These days, of course, no vendors sell to us at all. A reshippers pound of flesh could be $ well spent.

Ebay looks so dodge city here. Ali-fucking-baba and maaaynshina.com appear as reputable. Totally gonna give you my credit card number.

It's always a good idea to boycott big stores and fast food. If you wanna be healthy and live in a healthy society you gotta stay away from fast food and help small business. This is common sense anyone should have you don't have to call people to do it just a few days

It starts with watching TV and social media. If those are a big part of your life, you aren't being yourself....you're being sold to and behaviorally conditioned.

Having a favorite TV show is not the same as having a hobby. People treat it that way. Their lack of willpower sickens me.

I have a favorite TV show - Jack Ryan. But I also have hobbies (cycling, microcomputer programming, weight training). Seems my willpower is pretty good.

I don’t know if this is true.  Vince B said students today have such short attention spans that TV and movies would not be an influence.

And how effective could social media be as an influence on the culture? Unless it’s Russians hacking Facebook to swing an election.

Some people can't drive past a McDonald's without ordering something....it's a combination of impulse control and IQ that defends against it. The American lifestyle is incredibly slack, sloth and soft.

Spend a day around somebody who is under 30....an "average" person. That's all you need to verify.

I doubt it's as much "the American lifestyle" as it is the 20th century one. I do lots of travelling globally and I see just as many lazy Germans, Chinese, English etc as here. The USA by and large is a rich county so people can buy more. I have been to parts of China where the term trailer trash takes on a whole new meaning. If it wasn't for the fact that the Communist model leaves most people starving, these people would be no different than in poor US cities.

The USPS insisited they delivered a package from Amazon, which never arrived. I walked to the mailbox as the postman pulled away from curb. There was no Amazon package in the mailbox. So, I waited 48 hours before going to the post office with the tracking number. The post master said the postman took a picture of the package as he deposited it in the mailbox. Someone got my container of L-Lysine and it was not me.

I logged in to my Amazon account and informed them that I didn't get the package. They immediately sent another of the missing item via their delivery service at no charge. It arrived the next day. Amazon rules! The USPS sucks.

Herpes?  ;D

Actually, I had no idea L-Lysine helped treat herpes, probably because I've never had a cold sore or rash other than shingles. Have you used it for this purpose?

Here are some of the benefits of L-Lysine that I know about:

helping the body absorb calcium, iron, and zinc
promoting collagen growth
helping produce enzymes, antibodies, and hormones
supporting the immune system

And specific to bodybuilding and my good health

preventing loss of lean muscle mass and mobility issues in older adults
relieving anxiety
preventing bone loss and osteoporosis by helping the body absorb calcium (I have arthritis and degenerative disk disorder).
promoting the healthy growth of skin
treating shingles
moderating blood pressure (My blood pressure is on the high side of normal 118/70 average)
preventing plaque buildup in arteries
supporting hair growth
building muscle in bodybuilders
helping athletes recover from intense workouts
