Waist has been shrunken and/or his legs and arms have been marginally blown up. It's not a Golias type photoshop, but it's definitely been touched up. Cutler is more blocky/less x-framey than he looks there.

Sorry son, but you're wrong. The waist has been reduced and his delts and tris have been slightly blown up/rounded. Outer quads have ever so slightly been touched up (blown up/rounded) too.

It's the work of a photo shop pro who has a very good eye for bodybuilding  proportions, so don't feel bad for getting deceived by it.

How many people have seen both Ronnie and Yates at their very best, seeing them both at their best, Yates 93 is well ahead of Ronnie, Yates 93 then daylight to anything ever since, it was like his skin was cling wrap, no other human has ever looked so grainy, Ronnie at his best would have looked off next to him, he never got close to that again. But 93 Yates is the peak of the sport.

Personally my top 3 would be Arnold, Haney, Zane. Whilst i understand and respect modern bodybuilding none of them would be my preference, but these no way my Top 3 could compete with Yates or Ronnie at their very best with modern judging.

Ronnie was better in 99

He was better than 2003 version of him - Still not as Good as Dorian 93.

Wheeler 93 didn't win an olympia, therefore he can't be in the question, and yes he was ahead of Ronnie, I have also said previously that Leverone at his very best 92 beats Ronnie, Kevin at his very best had far better overall shape than Ronnie, Ronnie just had muscle for the sake of muscle his shape and structure, he would be one of the worst olympia winners.

Wheeler and Levrone are the “ideal” olympia physiques but wheeler is too small compared to Dorian and Ronnie when all things considered and judged by bbing standards. Although Ronnie’s physique isn’t “pretty” next to flex, he beats him in everything and even conditioning Ronnie is better. It’s bbing after all

Pretty good. But 2003 was not Ronnie's best. Biggest but not best. I would also flip places between Ronnie and Dorian.

As much as I like Arnold's lines and proportions he just did not have the level of development of these guys. Arnold was great in 1974 but still he was not dry enough and lacked the mass of the top 3. Aesthetically though he takes it by a mile!

Phil Heath's best was great but his narrow clavicles keeps him out of the top. Haney was awesome but his legs and arms held him back. Samir Bannout's 1983 win was fantastic but again he is in the same boat as Arnold. Just not big enough overall to be top 3.

There really can't be any other conclusion here.

If Aesthetics was the criteria yes.

If we look at all time aesthetic and impressive shapes in history disregarding specific Olympia contests I would put 1993 AC Flex Wheeler up there. Probably at number 1.

Always thought the same thing.  Flex was the total package that year:  Size, proportion, separation and dry as fuk.  A physique that has never really been equaled IMO.

if by shape you mean they look better, i agree but that isn't how shows are judged

if shape or aesthetics mattered so much dorian, ronnie, and jay never would've won the olympia

ronnie even has better shape while obviously being bigger, harder, and more complete and balanced

it is insanity to think flex 93 would beat him, flex 93 is the most overrated body ever he wouldn't even beat flex 98 who clearly lost to ronnie 98
