this gym would be out of business in a matter of months.

bbuilders take 2 hrs in gym, take up all equitment etc make noise intimidate ppl etc. hence the desire for fitness centers. gym want 40yr old men who will come in spend 5 quid and be out within the hour.

wat abt powerlifters, a 160lb plifter who is strong as a bull.

even though this is a joke thread ppl like mesomorph mattT and numerous othe rppl with excellent physiques under 200lbs show that bbuilding isnt judged by weight on scales.

Very interesting idea. Also gyms could consider separate powerlifter areas.

On a side note, with the 200-pound cutoff to get into the elite area of the gym, the owner should co-launch a protein/supp sales campaign simultaneously. Many of those 180-195ers would love to eat/bulk their way up to the Big Man Room.

This is the dumbest half-assed elietist bullcrap idea yet. It doesn't take into account shorter people who weigh less but can lift more than taller lifters. You think you're the second coming of Coleman and can just segregate others becuase you feel entitled and better than them because you weigh a bit more. Get a clue - we're all equal in the eyes of God no matter how strong or big we are.

A smarter idea would be to join a gym with a more hardcore atmosphere where serious lifters train. But it sounds to me like you're more interested in pushing others around and feeling big about yourself instead of actually training. You need to train with a world class bantamweight powerlifter and get a reality check - we call them "ego killers".
