I had this discussion with a buddy and we came to the conclusion that if you are ever 'fortunate' enough to have your own gym (I mean own your own gym) and you don't really care too much about making money the following should be done.
Open the membership to anyone at all with one proviso - at the door keep a 100 pound dumbell (or thereabouts). You can join the gym only if you can lift the dumbell with one arm overhead.
Now as for potential female members - it would be foolish to suggest this ridiculous, outmoded, arbitrary and sexist strength test as a restriction to membership.
Their membership would be determined entirely on the size of their jugs.

so what happens if some one like lee preist walks in contest shape blowing every1 away in your gym! would he have to train in the little boys area, even though he's one of the best in the world!

Of course he would.  We can't discriminate or give special treatment.  I'm not even sure if Lee would meet the minimum height requirements.

Hey guys - as I'm probably a little bit older (and wiser) than many of you I thought I would just share this. I was watching Dr Phil yesterday and he said something that I think y'all could learn from.
That is (and I'll paraphrase here) we all have opinions and while someone's opinion may not be essentially as valid as another this is not the important factor. The important factor is that that opinion is important to the person expressing it and rather than merely disregarding that opinion we should actively encourage and endorse that opinion to be heard thus giving validation to the holder of said opinion.
I'm so glad I could be of help. Thanks too Dr Phil - I owe you.
Doesn't that just make your day.

Does anybody know if Dr Phil still trains? And what gym he trains at (if indeed he still does)?
I have heard he was a very good wrestler at high school and judging by the look of him on his show he still has great conditioning. guessing his arms would be around 19.5 inches at a bodyweight of 275ish?
What do y'all reckon?

He is my height and weight. 6'4" 240 pounds. Never seen him without his suit on. BTW did you see the Dr. Phil look alike? He was exactly like him :o But I bet he does train cause their is a saying "sound mind, sound body"! Plus he got a diet book so he probably does work out.
just push some weight!

Ladies are allowed wherever they want in the gym.  No restrictions.

wrong!

Only the hot chicks can enter the 200+ lb  area....

all fat heffers need to stay in the under 200 lb  romper room

Easy Wiseguy, I think it's a good idea, but Bruno the manager kinda likes hefty chicks.  I will let him know that Wiseguy on Getbig thought it was a better idea to keep the fatties with the Juniors, and let you know.

You have an impressive physique, but I think Alexxx's is more impressive. Keep pumping though, you're making progress!
