You have an impressive physique, but I think Alexxx's is more impressive. Keep pumping though, you're making progress!

Well, it's hard to tell who has more muscle. I won't hate on you, on the off chance that you are a real person and not a gimmick account. You look quite powerful!

this gym would be out of business in a matter of months.

bbuilders take 2 hrs in gym, take up all equitment etc make noise intimidate ppl etc. hence the desire for fitness centers. gym want 40yr old men who will come in spend 5 quid and be out within the hour.

wat abt powerlifters, a 160lb plifter who is strong as a bull.

even though this is a joke thread ppl like mesomorph mattT and numerous othe rppl with excellent physiques under 200lbs show that bbuilding isnt judged by weight on scales.

I am the type of guy that you speak of. I pay my gym dues but they make no money off of me. I don't tan, never buy any t-shirts, don't get any protein shakes etc... I have lifted at this gym since 1981. I sometimes think the owners wish I would quit.

hey big guys ...hows this for an owning..: describe to me the economical effects that would occur on paverty stricken areas if welfare were to be strippped from them?   dont google it either.   ahahah fuckin morons.

Some of them would actually look for legitimate work, I suppose. But I imagine others would simply expand / step up their criminal activities.

Helloooooooo???  Will you guys stop arguing with Candidate.  He's 16!  It really does look stupid reading actual arguments with a kid.  Ignore him like you would any other high school juvenile having first time hormonal hissyfits.  His new pubes are itchy, let him flail in peace.

Update.  Bruno has begun the implementation of the over/under 200lb rule.  He did leave a qualifying loophole for the Juniors.  They must be able to flat-bench, squat and deadlift 1.5x their weight to get  waiver to workout with the full-grown men.  Pretty fair, I think.

Maybe thats the kind of gym YOU fantasize about, but I would suggest you keep that to yourself, sub-200lber.

Update:

Just got back from the gym.  It was an hilarious day!  Bruno was grilling some of the Juniors, telling them to stay in their area.  A couple of them were in the bathroom drinking a bunch of water to try to meet the +200lb requirment.  It was chaos.
Funny how many of the hot chicks migrate to the full grown men's side.  hahaha

I think it's pretty safe to assume, jaejonna, that alexxx is both.  ;D

Update:

hahaha, this morning was classic.  There were a group of the little guys out in the parking lot eating protein bars and drinking shakes "trying to make weight." hahaha  A couple of them are only about 10lbs away, but one guy was a little runt at about 170lbs.  His idea was to get a weighted vest and wear it under a baggy sweat shirt. hahaha.

Poor guys.  You could see the envy in their eyes as we went seperate ways at the front door.  Me to the mens side, and them to the juniors section. hahahaha

You'd think the new rules would make them happier and less intimidated.

I know, you would think the lil guys would take it as a challenge and try to move up the food chain, but they just seem to be more intimidated by us full-grown men, now. What can you do?

I have to thank Dan-O for this brilliant idea.  To avoid the kind of situations mentioned in my "Monday Gym Story" thread he came up with the idea to seperate the gym into two areas....one for 200lb+ members and one for 199lb and below.  Kinda to seperate the men (200lbers) from the boys (sub 200's).

I discussed it with the manager of the gym where I train and he likes the idea.  Should be implemented within the month.  He's going to move all the BOSU balls, stretch tubes, smaller DB's (might go chrome on them), squat bar pads, etc... to the Juniors side (his name for the sub 200's).

More info to follow.
I like it! I like it a lot!  ;D

You could always make some money selling benchpress shirts.

I think the rules should be based on total fitness, not just strength. Maybe you could incorporate medicine ball tossing, walking lunges, pull-ups and a 5-K. That would make things more fair.
