Yup! I'm senile. Also the highway was closed so the driver would have a hard time explaining why he was driving on it. I have absolutely no experience with protests other than what is shown in the news. So I admit in this case it might be better to break the law than to face a mob of protesters after that stunt.

Answer the question. WHY would a city shut down their own highway unstaffed at night? It is totally irresponsible. GPS probably didn't pick it up, didn't sign using DOT approved signs, etc all kinds of outs for the driver with a decent lawyer.
