Most likely the first dude rolled up on 1) some shit he wasn't supposed to see or 2) a couple of dudes who decided to rob him and he resisted.

They thought they were done but then the other two showed up, so... no witnesses.

such a remote place, seems like 1 is more likely than 2, 3 is that whoever did it knew the 3 were coming

I would bet money that drugs were involved to some degree. Either the 3 killed had drug debts or pissed off / ripped off a drug dealer or there was a drug deal going down that they stumbled upon.

It is common here in FL for drug deals to occur deep in the woods under the cover of darkness. Makes it hard for LE to detect them or sneak up on them without car lights / flash lights.

Others believe that one of the 3 victims was cheating with another’s man girlfriend/wife. Then they were confronted by an angry boyfriend/husband at the secluded fishing area
