There you go again, putting words in my mouth. I never said the protesters, rioters and looters in Portland are free to do as they please. Peaceful protesting is  a constitutional right. There's nothing in the constitution saying rioting is a right. Mayor Wheeler has imposed an 8:00 pm curfew. In my opinion, if these people violate the curfew, they break the law and should be subject to arrest. (State and local governments have broad powers to set curfews and other restrictions)

What I have said repeatedly is that I do not abide looting and rioting. I've also said that I do not and will not participate in public protests of this nature.
