Current corvettes, camaro ZL1, mustang gt350, vipers, all can go around corners, and do it better than majority of European cars, and I am a German American saying that
German cars are only good if it’s the top of the line M, AMG, RS, and I don’t mean the sport line like your car, the full fledged real deal shit
I feel Italians like ferrari and Alfa Romeo are better than almost all the Germans, much funner and rare, German cars aren’t anything special, almost everyone and your local Hebrew has a regular benz
Ferrari? How old are you? About 12? Pointless, silly cars. Camaro & Mustang have more character, even if they only go in a straight line. Corvettes are basically wannabee Ferarris.
I like a comfortable car that you can drive 500 miles with the family and not feel shattered at the end of the journey. Cars have a utility value beyond swinging your dick at other motorists. 5 series is much better than any US or Jap crap for a happy family on long journeys.
The Germans have that "comfortable car that's fun when you boot it" nailed to a tee. I like to be able to put my foot down sometimes & I prefer that without the rear-end of the car overtaking me.
I have driven the Mustang 5.0 (can't remember the model) and I would put it in the "don't let your wife drive it in the rain" category. Not my cuppa. Not that there's no place for that, I do like a fun, faster car, hence the little C43 AMG. Taxes prevent me from getting the C63 here sadly (300% tax on that one - $250k).
Pretty much 300% tax on any imported car but BMW and Benz only 60% because they assemble locally. That basically puts them in the lead. Of course, I am not batting off supermodels with socks packed with rolls of 100's like most here.
