ALL artificial sweeteners are poison.  Optimum makes an all natural one that doesn't have art sweeteners.  Flavors are limited though.

It's because 95% of supposedly American supplements are actually pre-made in China. I exposed this in another thread but they created the phrase "Made for and distributed by". If it says this on your supplements, most will, it means that company did not make their product. It is actually illegal to not list the Country it was manufactured in but they came up with this slick phrase to say they didn't make their product and no one notices. They actually fill out an order form for product and labels. No major company has anything to do with the manufacturing of their products. The few that spend the money to manufacture in the US will proudly display an American flag and a "Made in the USA" label. But this is very rare, and almost non existent in protein powders. Optimum, species and the rest simply send an order form to China and pay fees to be able to say things like "proprietary blend" or "triple filtered" and all the other bullshit. Acesulfame is a Chinese dominated sweetener. In fact, Wuhan Technology in Wuhan China is one of the worlds largest suppliers of acesulfame for protein powders n the world. It's vertically integrated in China, so everything in your supplement was made in China using Chinese materials.

What are you talking about? Since I personally have been at the Optimum Whey plant outside Chicago, and have seen the process, including how they make it from start to finish, confused on your statement here.   Seen the raw materials, the mixing machines, the process and more.    They manufacture in the USA, as do quite a few others (via other manufacturing facilities around).

As for certain raw ingredients, that is true, companies outsource those from all over.  You would be surprised how many different types there are around.

Thanks for posting bro, I was worried the supplement industry (or Gates) found you and had you silenced.

They make an "all natural" whey with a small amount of sugar.  The level of ace-k being used in their products is way too high... sicky sweet.

I wonder what the state of the supplement industry. With all the economic challenges, one would think sales must be down.

Problem is whey itself is mostly imported from Asia/China. If you want to know where the whey comes from it is almost impossible to know the origin of milk unless it is specified on label.

Packaging and labeling in one country does not mean the main ingredient is from that country and supplement industry is extremely shady when it comes to that.

Whey is a good food supplement but the way the industry is set right now its better to stay clear from it since it is far from being controlled...

Can you cite your source of the statement "whey itself is mostly imported from Asia/China" since every market research study I searched for doesnt support that. Here is but one example:

https://www.openpr.com/news/2084939/global-whey-protein-concentrate-wpc-powder-industry

Furthermore , the Chinese dairy industry pales in size to Europe and the US by an order of magnitude. Doubtful they are a large exporter of whey products:
