New Future UFC Light Heavyweight bouts?
« on: April 19, 2006, 12:05:27 PM »
What do the fellas think about the future of Light Heavys? I can see the following up comming bouts...

Bonnar/Griffin - Forrest wins

Tito/Shamrock - Tito wins

Liddel/Tito - Chuck wins

Shamrock/Forrest - Forrest wins

Forrest/Liddel - Chuck slips and gets tapped out!

I was hearing Bonner vs. Babalu at UFC 60.  Bonnar's time to be exposed has come, IF if this is true.
Predictions
 40/61

Not interested in ANY of those fights.  Babalu vs. whoever... That is the only fight I want to see in the UFC light heavyweight division.

Forrest went on record early on in his career saying he wanted a piece of Babalu, this was before he went in to the TUF show.  I would think that in his mind he's alot better than that now but I think it would be a brawl. ;D

I'd put money on Babalu submitting Griffin.  Sobral is about as good a wrestler as tito, but a way better submission guy.

No, not even close.

Wanna bet?  Babalu's credentials in freestyle wrestling are by far superior to Tito's.  Babalu has just evolved into a submission fighter, instead of a gnp'er.

as much as he may have improved, IMO Chuck has just gone right off the scale. I dont see anyone beating hmi in the forseeable future, he is a complete fighter. Like Joe Rogan said he has enough power to knock out a horse! And thats not in his favoured hand, thats in both his feet and hands
