My landlord is a great old guy. Was a broadacre farmer and became a real estate agent specializing in farmland. Bears no resemblance at all to the monocle top hat guy on the monopoly box.

You wouldn't believe the shit I've repaired in rentals over the years. Tenants are animals. Always a fist hole in the bedroom door. Every fucking time.

I've never had a problem with any of my tenants.  Of course, the properties I own have HOA that are very strict and have some control over who can rent there.

That depends on the person. Nobody is interested if you make your money easy or not but that you have some.

I only know one landlord who owns an apartment complex and she made her money pretty easy and lots of it.

She has to take care of some things and is highly annoyed by it but so far did not have to many asshats renting. Mayn people who rent are scum but on the other hand there are a good deal of landlords who use many underhand tactics to get one up. It's a bad situation overall.
