My opinion couldn't be lower of Bill Gates right now.  He is so self unaware.

Every car maker in the world is developing an electric crossover.  Why are we all doomed by climate change.  Talk about fear mongering.

It's too bad there isn't some biological organism that takes CO2 out of the atmosphere.  Oh, that's right there is, it's called a tree or plant.  If you bury a log under ground does the CO2 trapped in go back to the atmosphere?  No, it doesn't.  Maybe the CO2 in the atmosphere isn't such a problem at all? 

Have there ever been higher levels of CO2 in the atmosphere?  Yes, there have.  Can we cut a core from an ice cap and see what the CO2 levels were throughout time?  Yes, we can. 

One of the reasons the earth's temperature hasn't gone up more is the amount of trees on the planet has increased.  In fact the huge borial forests in Canada and Russia act as a pressure valve.  As the temperature goes up, the growing season for these forest is longer resulting in larger trees that consume more CO2.

This is where I get fed up.  Science shouldn't have an agenda, much less a political agenda.  Science should be about facts and completely unbiased.  If the Sun is the center of our solar system, then it's at the center.  The left today is no different than the Catholic church was back in the 1600's.

I saw a post from a scientist where they said "at 400 PPM CO2 were in uncharted territory.  CO2 levels have never been this high in human history".

They forget to mention that for the majority of the earths history CO2 levels and temperature levels have never been this low, nor have temperatures been this low.

In fact between the Triassic, Jurassic, and cretaceous periods (The time of the dinosaurs) CO2 levels were between 1000 and 2000 PPM, which is five times what it is today. 

Mammals first evolved during the Triassic period, so the majority of mammal history has been in CO2 levels five times higher than today.  Which means CO2 levels could be five times higher than today and people and the earth would be just fine.  What do you think the CO2 levels are under the face masks people are wearing today?

So the idea that somehow man has damaged the planet by burning fossil fuels is laughable.  All the CO2 we're releasing was already in the atmosphere before.  That's how the fossil fuel was created. 

In addition the idea that it's difficult to remove CO2 from the atmosphere is laughable as well.

During the Jurassic Period (200 mya), average CO2 concentrations were about 1800 ppm or about 4.7 times higher than today.

The highest concentrations of CO2 during all of the Paleozoic Era occurred during the Cambrian Period, nearly 7000 ppm — about 18 times higher than today.

To add to what you said , increased atmospheric c02 increases crop yields, therefore more food is produced for the same space and resources. That fact doesn't fit the agenda so the "scientists" never mention that one.
