Absolutely.  He had all the limelight and attention in the 90's, but was arrogant as hell for the most part.  No long term vision... just lived day to day like most ppl do... no investments for the future, just spend whatever is in your pocket.  Didn't he have kids with the mulatto?... can't they help him?

It's truly amazing to witness athletes blow all there money.  It's like they think their physical bodies will continue to make them big money for the rest of their lives.  70% of NFL players file bankruptcy within 2 years of retirement.

If that article is true, flex is dealing with Phantom limb pain and for what it's worth, it is not deadly, mostly annoying and likely in need of good neuropathic medications, if not narcotics.

Strangely, the article mentions that Ronnie Coleman is offering his assistance. Not sure if serious, but isn't Ronnie Coleman a quadriplegic?

It is just sad no matter what you think about how he behaved and blew his money. The guy probably has my favorite physique in bbing history.
