State law is what rules, not the city.  Friend of mine lives in NJ... very tough anti-gun state.  You need a permit just to own a gun and also to buy ammo (ridiculous).  I'm guiding him through the process now.  Usually a 30 day waiting period for the permit, but they told him several months.  About 5x the normal amount of ppl have been applying.  People are scared... and they should be.

NYC has gun laws specific to itself.

Some towns in NJ even have gun laws specific to them.

It can be confusing as heck.

Forget about ever getting a carry permit in NJ.

NJ has the 2nd toughest gun laws in the country right behind California.

NJ follows whatever Cali does in liberal wackiness.

Every one of the phony protesters/thugs will still of course call 911 if they are in danger, or even if they need to confront their bad ass, psychotic thug neighbor who blasts rap shit until 3am. A cop will go to his door for you, bang on it and tell him to keep it down.  These anti police idiots have no idea what life without police will be like. Just ghetto heaven

I feel sorry for ppl living in gun restrictive states.

Imagine needing a permit just to BUY ammo?

10rd magazine restrictions? - lol   I have 73rd drum mags for my AK and 100rd mags for my AR.

It sucks that you can't get a carry permit in NJ.  You have no way to defend yourself on the street.

By the way, how many people have you had to kill so far?

 ;)

I understand why we need guns but to your point when it comes time to shoot and kill a mob of people good luck.

PA is much more free with gun laws.  Even NY is better than NJ but not by much.

I used to carry a handgun for work while living in another state but never had to use it.

It made me feel a lot better having it.

Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

When someones life depends on it, even a libtard gun hater would shoot them.  Usually a mob will scatter after the first couple shots, especially a high power weapon.  Good to have high capacity mags and plenty of extra ones with you.

Maybe he did.  As fucked up as old Johnny Wad was at the end, I hope he wasn't handling a firearm.

Sure but this is assuming the mob doesn’t have guns.

Again I’d rather have a gun with ammo than not BUT the reality is we’ve had months of riots and mob rule and literally ZERO gun owners have stepped up to defend their property.

The one gunman that fired on the mob that was attacking him was arrested.

We are living in strange days.

What about the military guy in Austin, Texas? The fat, antifa snowflake, who was bragging on video about people being too afraid to fight back, raised his rifle up to the door of the soldier’s pickup truck and told the soldier to surrender his vehicle.

The soldier drew a weapon and shot fatty antifa dead. The rest of the antifa cockroaches scattered so fast they were falling down trying to escape. The video was posted here in another thread. The soldier was questioned and released.

That's because all the riots/lootings/arson happened in libtard run cities.  No riots/looting in gun friendly areas/states... gee I wonder why?    ;D

Good point.

But the people in those areas still own guns, right? Is Minnesota a liberal state or is it just Minneapolis?

It would appear every major city is more liberal/left leaning (outside of those in  Texas).

Again I think gun ownership is a right we need to exercise but the reality is nothing favors the shooter even if they are 100% in the right.

If you own a gun you must be well-versed in the law as to when you are legally entitled to use it.

NJ has some of the toughest gun laws in the country. Sling shots are illegal. No joke. Hollow point ammo is illegal except for target shooting or if it's kept in the home. Ten round magazines only. No one can get a carry permit unless you are an armed security guard. Then it's only to work and back from work. Retired cops have to get a permit to carry and they have to jump through a lot of hoops to get it. A red ryder bb gun is considered a firearm. You need a back ground check to buy one and what's called a purchaser card.

Maybe he didn't get the attention he wanted WHEN he was a little kid

Yes, that video was annoying watching Letterman acting stupid, like he couldn't figure out how to get his legs in the machine.  He was always trying to make his guests look bad.  He almost ruined Marshall Sylver's career before it got started.

On a side note, Jones'wife, Terry, didn't have an ounce of muscle on her.  He should have used Bev Francis to model the machines.  I guess he figured no woman would want to workout if they thought the machines actually built muscle.
