Ah - so I remembered that correctly?  Funny - watching the I just went to Wikipedia and saw that Colin Farrell was listed last in the abbreviated cast list as the Oswald "Oz" Cobblepot / Penguin:

^ I didn't even notice the Penguin in the trailer.  It makes me wonder why Jonah Hill was asking for so much cash for a small role.  Does he think he's Marlon Brando in the 1978 Superman movie?  Haha.

Not to say Jonah Hill hasn't shown versatility as an actor, but it's surprising to me that any actor would turn down a superhero movie.  Back in the day, Michael Keaton stopped after Batman Returns out of fear of being typecast.  Now in 2020 when superhero movies are basically all we have, I can't see why any actor would consider themselves above it.

Maybe another trailer will show this Batman reboot is worth watching...but as of now, I'll pass.

I heard the libertarian presidential candidate recently went woke.  Tim Pool mentioned it the other day on YouTube [I saw the video yesterday].  I just don't need to hear another diatribe about how evil White men are.  I've only heard it 10,000 times by now, and whether I agree or disagree with it, I just don't want to hear it again.  You'd think by now, Hollywood would understand how much wokeness is turning people away...but no.

Yep.  That is everything I was afraid of.  Black Adam is just a no bullshit dude that thinks nothing of slaughtering people on a whim.  The WW3 story was he against every other DC hero except Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman (who were missing for some reason).  He beat the piss out of them without breaking a sweat.

They should have brought Black Adam to the screen first by making him the next villain that the Justice League would face in their next movie.

The last 3-4 minutes of Nolan's effort was the kind of payoff that none of these other hero films offer. These money hungry studios always leaving things wide open for sequels. Nolan stamped his work with a satisfying ending that just seems to age better and better.

On the subject of Batman....   while J. Phoenix gave a good portrayal of "a" Joker, there is no one that can touch Heath's portrayal as "THE" Joker.

The cinema version of shazam/adam should be identical to the animation.  Unfortunately, they already jacked up shazam.  Walker will put the finishing touch on a fan friendly black adam. smh!
