They already control with hypnosis so there's no need for any of that.
Huh? Hypnosis? Help me to understand this a bit more brother.
What I meant was some type of technology that would be readily used to retrieve thoughts and memories, not something that isn't necessarily a proven technique (ie hypnosis). I don't see, hear or read about the CIA, FBI or local law enforcement cracking crime mysteries thanks to hypnosis. Also, not everyone is susceptible
to the effects of hypnosis. I know some psychotherapists are trained in it, but I also know NO psychiatrists are trained to do that in medical school, as it's not part of the standard medical curriculum in med school or during psychiatric residency.
Musk's idea would allow for the free flow of information from the mind to inanimate objects. It will allow for you to upload commands onto a computer and for information to flow freely between computers and the mind. Thereby, anything that can hack a computer, can likewise hack the mind.
What examples in modern day history do you know of where hypnosis has been used to obtain hidden information? By examples, I mean common knowledge that we can all verify. I've seen it in movies and TV shows, but have you read otherwise?
