We talked a lot of shit over the years, but getbig is probably the last place on the internet with real old school bodybuilding aficionados/primemuscle recovering schmoes.

It's sad now to see the golden era guys slowly dying off.

Ric aged gracefully, he still looked pretty badass at the end.

Yeah, it was fun goofing on him over the "tapes", but for years I truly enjoyed the his videos and all the stories he told. I was born in the early 80's so while I guess a lot of people my age would be inspired by bb in the 90's, It's old school all the way for me.

Ric's problems seemed to start after he snapped both his patella tendons.  He had 2 knee replacements, congestive heart failure, a massive infection in one of his legs that never healed and failing kidneys.  He took many diff prescription drugs including lasix.  He had bad hips, shoulders and back.  He was on roids in the late 60's, 70's and 80's and TRT since his 50's.

Arnold did seem to age quickly, especially after his governorship was finished.  I don't think he ever had any cosmetic work done or botox injections.

No way! I see a face lift and a hair transplant right off the bat! Probably some eye work to get away from the chinky look.

Maybe he doesn't want to be associated with bodybuilders from that era that made porn for a living. It doesn't reflect well on Gold's gym and the bodybuilding crew that worked out there.  Apparently there were a few of the known bodybuilding stars that participated.

Drasin was a minor star in an obscure porno film.

My guess is Drasin's channel was too small for Arnold to come out for, and he didn't want him making money off his image. Also Drasin was tight with Robby Robinson, and Robinson did a press tour trying to hurt Arnold's credibility during one of his gubernatorial runs.

There could be an unspoken grudge there.
