I know right, it comes straight from HR so I'm sure there is a loophole around people filing complaints about it. The companies I know that do this the most are the big dogs like Shell, Exxon, Dell, Apple, Verizon, BP, etc. It's more common overseas too. So I'm sure they know how to manage it. Similar thing happen to my cousin who works at Chase Bank, he lost his Regional Manager position to a lady who had an outstanding score on many different tests.I can actually remember when HR told me straight to my face that i didn't have the personality rating to be a senior manager. I was like WTF? My colleague was told directly by senior management that he got passed up on several promotions because he was too young and didn't need to make decisions at a high level; the guy was top of his class and the most amazing person i ever worked with. Others missed management opportunities because they were single and not considered "stable". It's pretty fucked up what large companies get away with.
At least it wasn't a Rorschach-test!
Gayer than having "a boss".
