True but you know what, Bolton and those fucks tried to push Trump into starting a war with Iran. Trump pushed back and got rid of those war monger fucks and didn't start a war. Imagine how many American lives he saved by not starting this war.
Note- I can't stand the piece of shit Trump. This has nothing to do with GOP vs. Dems. I've always hated that asshole well before he entered politics, but I'm also man enough to admit when he does some good things which the media will never ever do.
I respectfully disagree. Trump dropped the ball. He knew the US public was war weary so he kicked the Iran can down the road. He should have answered their rockets with the same number but 100x the payload. Precipitating a war in that way wouldn't have made us too blackhat, and it may have been the 11th hour in terms of the Iranian nuclear weapons program. That war's casualties would have been far less than the ones which could be on the way. They've given every indication that they intend to construct nukes and then called Trump's sanctions bluff. It was the necessary time for war and a potentially very costly peace, but he didn't do it. We might be wishing later that he had.
We rebuilt Iraq - twice - and then got politically outmaneuvered by Iran convincing the Iraqi parliment (which we're supposedly our guys) to vote us out. We poured lives and money into that shithole, and for our efforts were embarrassed on the world stage when the ungrateful fuckers showed us the door.
Imo we should have placed a pistol upside parlimentarian heads, remind them who put them in that plush chair, and told them to vote again. Whoever we had sleeping on that watch - I would guess Pompeo - should have been sectioned, dried, powdered, and sent in a pretty little urn to every American family who lost a son for basically no good reason at all.
Oh, and the same guys to told us to fuck off in January now need troops and money to help with their insurgency problems. Guess Iran wasn't interested. But Pompeo is. He wants to help. Lives, money, the usual.
