I wonder why they hold more bodyfat than say the sprinters, surely as lean as the sprinters would allow them to jump further.When I played basketball the leaner and lighter I was, higher I jumped, sounds obvious but I wonder why the jumpers carry excess fat.I mean mass against gravity are the bases you want to make sure you have covered first surely in jumping disciplines?
