That's actually a great question...I did watch the 2008 Rambo.  I find that Sylvester Stallone tends to write one-dimensional bad guys.  I think that is consistent in all of his scripts.  Maybe that's part of the appeal [there is a definite good vs. evil theme].

As to the exact answer...I was a huge fan of action movies as a kid, but not so much adventure movies.  And I think maybe I profiled the Rambo movies as being more leaning to adventure than action.

Now that you mentioned it, maybe it's high time I check them out.  I would guess the 1980's Rambo movies were better than the 2008 movie, which I thought was worth watching.  Stallone is really killing it - especially for 74 years old.  Well, for any age really - but especially for 74.

I saw some videos about Covid-19 by Dr. Vernon Coleman, MD.  He is 74 as well, and you really wouldn't think Stallone was the same age if you put him next to Dr. Coleman.

but EVERYTHING from 1976 up until 2016 from Sly and Everything from 1970 (I own a VHS of Hercules in New York!) to 2003 or so with Arnold.
