I don't think his HIT style works for everyone, not saying it couldn't theoretically but most people aren't able to follow that atyle an hopefully find the ideal thing for them.

I love doing high volume burn out sets at the beginning and end of some exercises. I do 10-12 heavy as poss but need that skin splitting pump to feel happy with what I have done. I just enjoy the challenge and the way to exorcise anger an aggression in a positive way.

I am a long way off my goals but lots of inspirational dudes here.

Yep, hard work is overrated in all sports. Everyone works hard but only those with the great genetics rise to the top.

Dorian’s training partner is legendary.  His name is LeRoy. Trust me-  no LeRoy no Dorian. They were inseparable friends.

LeRoy was a gentleman and as humble as anyone can be.

The very first time I met LeRoy was post-Olympia 1993. LeRoy came to Golds with Dorian. I sent LeRoy over to our kickass Pro Shop to get “anything he wanted for himself and his friends…”.   He called me over to OK his purchase/selection (it was comped of course). He had 2 T-shirts, 2 hats, a magazine, and a bottle of water.

He was super grateful for those few items.

I had to try hard to convince him to get more. Just a humble, thankful gentlemen.

I think people romanticize the work ethic of winners, like I find it not very likely that Dorian worked a lot harder than for example Dave Palumbo. You can only work so hard, lift so much, inject so much, ...
