I caught them on their last tour with DLR and Wolfgang.
Band was amazing, DLR just talked each song, but it was still fun to see. 6-string master, one of the GOATS talent wise.
(I didnt follow much after 1984 as I didnt like the direction they went in), though they made good music, my taste in the 80's/90's was (still is) death metal, very heavy metal.
But as a musician myself, how could one not love Eddie, innovator.

Early shit (VH I, II, Fair Warning, Women & Children, Diver Down) all fantastic.

Looked really bad in last pictures I saw of him. Pretty much knew when he went to that Tool concert with the son that the end was coming.

He's a musical giant - responsible for almost all the 80s guitar virtuosity. What else can you say? RIP
