Lots of these reactionvideos took youtube and other mediaoutlets by storm a few years ago, not sure when it started.

Didn't see much of this back in the early 2000s.

Would have loved to see some back in the 70s.

Theater reactions to horror movies of the 70's are much better... I was there

I first saw Jaws in June 1975. The audience reaction when you first saw the shark come of the water ("Come on down and chum some of this shit!") was so huge that you barely hear the dialog for 1 minute afterwards. Seeing the movie on TV is not the same experience as seeing it in a big theatre with an audience. However, people are so desensitized now, it's not the same.
