But it is nothing dangerous, marty is just using shity internet-sites.
Malewarebytes just detects this shity link opens it and find's the next shity link wich is blacklisted.

I notice it goes in phases of different styles. From Marty's normal meth-headed nonsense, to sometimes posts that are normal, proper spelling, grammar, etc.
At least two are using it for sure.

Back when this forum and others were really popping, sometimes people would buy accounts or spend months crafting an alt as a phishing type thing. Certain guys were already in the "in crowd", so they'd have access to, or the ability to start up new conversations in an attempt to get good gossip or owning material.

The other type of hustle were guys just looking to straight up scam or promote a competing product - steroid order scams, promoting competing boards, etc.....

For steroid scamming it might still work, but I don't see the value for owning people anymore. Everyone here is old and mellowed out.

All I know is that Alex guy once sent me a link to get my location. I clicked it but then immediately understood what it was about. Then he posted about my location as if it was some type of secret, like what for?

Silly but kind of assholish behavior. Maybe he's still here up to his old tricks.

There are several people using the account, totally different personalities, opinions, writingstyles.

Imagine if i suddenly would turn Liberal SJW and post pics of thin lasses and speak entirely in "Jive".

Something to raise an eyebrow over.

No. I rarely go through those lengths anymore to verify members. This is a job we do for free. It's not worth the hassle and possible repercussion of dealing with crazy people.

Today, we the moderators look at it and if it looks reasonable, we let it slide. If enough people are concerned and convinced that there's fuckery afoot, then we act on it.

I have nothing against Marty personally, just relaying to you the warnings I was getting from Malwarebytes. They also show the IP address of the "phisher" too... I can send you that if you need it.
