Not that I wasn't curious. She told me that he died at home. He was a few years older than me. He never complained about his health, so I assumed he was healthy.

It is not yet possible to accurately determine a comprehensive tally of coronavirus-related fatalities in the U.S. for 2020. There is a lag in time between when the death occurred and when the death certificate is completed, submitted to NCHS and processed for reporting purposes. This delay can range from 1 week to 8 weeks or more, depending on the jurisdiction, age, and cause of death.

Since February, when masks were first recommended, I've worn one whenever I go any place where safe public distancing is not possible or any place where they are required which is just about everywhere in Oregon.

If masks are not required in your podunk town, Thunder Bay, CA. Then do me a favor and don't wear one.

It’s REAL simple as far as I am concerned. IF this horrible disease has killed 200,000 people - then we should EASILY be able to show a 200,000 body count increase when compared to the average yearly numbers.
