It must be true because a company said it was and they have a looot of money. Money equals truth. The media profited from the ads and they agreed with the cigarette companies.
The media has a lot of money. That's truth times 2. Plus, celebrities endorse cigs and they're famous after all.  Even more truth. If anyone disagreed and says cigs are bad, they would not be given television time. It's because they are bad. They must be censored and called names so that they will not argue against truth.

Imagine how smart people felt agreeing with big companies and famous people(and still do). Those that believed cigs weren't healthy were BAD.    It's so fulfilling to agree with what the famous and rich tell you is true.

This parallels people that quote companies owned by people with the same ideology as authoritative sources. This leftist company banned him. This leftist company said he is hateful. This company wrote a bad article about him. Conclusion...he is therefore bad.  It's the same as the cig companies/media decades ago being authoritative, in reality their consensus is meaningless. Except now it more like the Holy Roman Church says you're bad, they excommunicate you, they shun you, therefore you are bad. Except it's not exactly the Catholic Church that's in charge now.

Most MD's aren't terribly smart- they just stuck it out forever in school. Had a discussion with a friend who is an MD and apparently you don't have to be very good at biochemistry to pass, lol. I mean he literally had no fucking clue about many enzymatic process that go on in the body. These people are so specialized now anyways that their grasp of the "big picture" is non existent.

No one needs to wear masks. All the workers arent, etc. No tables spaced out, no signs on table to "not sit here", etc.

Felt good to be in a normal environment.

They are "book" smart, not logical.  People with a MD are typically very good at remembering things, but not necessarily more intelligent than say an accountant who is good with numbers.

A good client of mine is a Neurologist and went to college for almost 12 years.  He's a moron about most things, but he can remember things in great detail when he needs to.  He will admit he knows absolutely nothing about medicine and is terrible in Biology, but he is a MD.

Doctors are like Engineers, they have a "field" they work in.  You wouldn't ask a Structural Engineer how to launch a rocket into space, would you?  Maybe you would ask an Aerospace Engineer first.

If you think of this in terms of restricting spending and preventing hyperinflation it all makes sense.

How many people have put off marriages and the spending that comes with them as a result of this?
