The NFL is a very well established brand and has been around for many decades but I don’t think this recent foray into politics is doing them any favors. In general it’s a bad idea to mix politics of any kind into your business. Why needlessly alienate a segment of your customer base?

I have probably watched less than 5 minutes of NFL football since the players started kneeling.

Fuck that bullshit.

They want special treatment, reparations, and don’t like the police...I will buy them a boat ticket back to Africa today.

The product had already been going downhill. They stretch the games out forever with endless clock stoppages and sideline interviews. The politics was the last straw for a lot of people myself included.

And yes no one needs to get their moral or behavioral cues from the segment of the population that has the highest crime rate.

The only sports that matter are fighting and bodybuilding. All I’m concerned with is who’s at da top of da food chain!  We all know that bodybuilders can easily beat anyone in a fight.

I agree.

The endless pregame crap, commercials, token female sideline reporters, and the political correctness added into a league full of felons and I’m not interested at all.

Yeah it's been going downhill for a while.

Don't give two shits about the NFL anymore, only watched a few games all season. I hope the players who fought the system end up on the streets. You know they have zero life skills.

Never really watched the NBA, i don't find basketball interesting at all.

I share Ty Cobb's opinion regarding the game of basketball.

I grew up in a pro football town, so it is hard to not watch at all.  Luckily when it snowed in GB they never plowed the SJW messages at the end of the field.  Don't think that wasn't on purpose.  I think the players will learn a lesson in the NFL with the cap dropping, players having to take salary cuts/restructure or get cut, and back off next year.  Question is, will the networks?

NFL just signed record high tv rights deals despite covid, and ratings downturns.  They are fucking up by keeping almost all of the MNF games on ESPN though, annd have agreed to terms with Amazon to take away TNF from Fox (free) to Amazon.  I'm not going to pay $129/year to watch a handful of games I'm interested from a site that's entertainment section sucks cock, and I can get as good of deals from Walmart or BB locally and have it delivered same day...usually just a couple of hours if it is in stock in the store.

As for the female sideline reporters, Pam Oliver has been around for decades and knows her shit, plus gets good inside info from players since she is black.  Andrews not so bright, but still hot.  Clarissa Thomas on Fox pregame is hot AF, and knows the game too.  Other than that...yeah, you're right.  I miss The Goose from the Ravens after he retired saying silly shit.

I didn't say she was hot.  I said she's been around for decades.  I'm not into black women, but she's taken a couple balls to the face and head so she likely knows her role.  8)

I saw this game, and remember this.  Took it like a boss, and no bruising as the game went on......now that I think about maybe black chicks are worth a shot. (pun intended)

It would have been way more embarrassing if her weave would've detached from her scalp from the impact.
