There will be great opportunities to buy real estate in California as the market plunges.

Yeah, you can buy one for half price but the taxes will be 5x higher. People with brains are fleeing blue states.

Exactly.  Also, no support from local governments/police during riots.

Ask yourself:

Do I really want the Country run by the same party that runs New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland and Chicago?

Las Vegas is so freaking hot.  It cools off to 98 or so at night.  Brrr!  Bring a sweater for those frigid nights.

It doesn't matter if the humidity is low...hell has low humidity too.

Yes, in the winter it's nice but the summers are brutal.

The tap water tastes like crap also.

So, move to Vegas...drink bottled water...stay inside 9 months of the year in a casino or watching TV.  Awesome.

The changes in the federal income tax due to Trump have really affected the high tax states like Cali, NY, and NJ.

The inability to deduct state income and real estate taxes has motivated many wealthy people to exit.

These states always felt they could just keep increasing those taxes and nobody would care since they were deductible.

Now they are stuck with a system that relied on those taxes for revenue and people are leaving.

In NJ there are tons of high end homes with mega real estate taxes on the market and nobody wants them.

Even homes priced in the $300 have double digit real estate taxes.

I lived in Vegas and would again but in a nicer neighborhood.  I would rather live in Reno but housing prices are climbing there fast.

Didn't they all, or most of them?  Hopefully at least some of them learned their lesson and won't ruin whatever city and state they move to.

This thread is populated by simpletons who couldn’t afford to live half decently in NYC, LA, SF, Chicago, etc.

Everything will be back to normal next month once Biden gets elected. He will be forced down your throats whether he really wins or not because you are powerless peasants.

Why would I want to live in NYC, LA, SF, Chicago?

Tesla CEO Elon Musk will leave California and move to Texas

Musk, the world’s second-wealthiest person behind Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, is in Texas frequently already. He spends most of his time between Austin, where Tesla and his tunnel start-up Boring Company have operations, and a coastal village called Boca Chica, home to a SpaceX facility. SpaceX started operating in Texas in 2003.

California, often condemned by the super rich for its high tax rates and stiff regulations, has seen an exodus of notable tech names during the pandemic as companies look to cut costs and prepare for a future of distributed work. Musk has been among the loudest critics this year, comparing the state to a championship sports team that’s become complacent and developed a “winning-for-too-long problem.”

The problem is, these stupid assholes then vote Democrat once they flee.

You would think Musk should understand race being raised in SA.

But to me he just seems like a mega autist tard in many ways so if I had to guess I'd say he's a liberal cun*. :D

I lived in the Phoenix Az area for 10 years. One of the nicest areas you can live in. 100 degrees and 10% humidity is completely comfy. And staying inside 9 months of the years is a complete fallacy. Maybe a few weeks in a row are pretty tough- unlike 6 months of shit weather in the northeast. I used to live in Syracuse...
