Election Prediction Thread - Biden vs. Trump - Who will win?
« on: October 13, 2020, 06:19:27 AM »
I know it’s a political topic but it’s mainstream enough to belong on the main page. While there’s always the possibility of something unforeseen happening, I’m ready to go with this map as my prediction.

But what about the polls? I’ll address that in another post.

Anybody else?

I don't know.

If I had to bet, I'd say Biden based off of statistical data.

How does one take part in a poll?

Seems like unemployed panhandlers are the only individuals doing them.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.  I've never been asked to do one, or know of anyone.

I remember thinking there is no way in hell Obama gets re-elected. Incumbency is a powerful thing, just look at history.

I’m still saying Trump although it sounds as if Biden is doing good but I don’t buy the bullshit. They said trump had no chance against Hilary so I’m believing trump still takes it.

I agree on President Trump winning, but I still see former VP Biden taking Maine, New Hampshire, and Nevada.

I was on the fence about Nevada until I saw Biden’s appearance there in which the campaign hired a shitty mariachi band. That pathetic pandering tells me that they’re very concerned about the Hispanic vote.

They tend to over sample women as they are more likely to pick up the phone and take the survey. That’s why the polls tend to be more accurate when a Democrat is a big favorite.

A lot of right leaning people told me that Romney was going to win. I never bought it for a second. Incumbency being one of the reasons.

They call your phone number.  I just say no thank you and hang up.  That's probably why Trump is polling so low.  :D

You don't even have Biden winning all the states Hillary won?  Is incumbency that strong?

I have Trump winning all the states he won in 2016 + NH, NV & MN.

It’s not just incumbency. It’s also greater enthusiasm, new voter registration totals and Biden being a complete shit candidate.

Here’s my 2016 Prediction. Trump ended up with 306. I was wrong about the popular because I didn’t realize California was so far gone. Should’ve checked with Coach and Chaos. That said, the EV is all that counts.

Trump wins General by 4%
Gets 310 in Electoral.

If you drive thru NH, Trump signs outnumber Biden signs 20 to 1.
May not mean anything, but I see more in VT as well, similar numbers.

In the past, NH (once largely conservative) became a demtard state because of the libtard Mass-Holes who moved to NH from MA.
(MA is so brutally libtarded, its sickening, though the violent protests I think are few). (Almost 80% White).

Things seem different this time around, barely any Sleepy Joe signs anywhere.

Again, may not mean a thing.

Massachusetts Demographics
According to the most recent ACS, the racial composition of Massachusetts was:

White: 78.48%
Black or African American: 7.48%
Asian: 6.48%
Other race: 4.17%
Two or more races: 3.16%
Native American: 0.21%
Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander: 0.03%

Regarding Pollls, I didn’t write this, but it’s a solid primer on what they’re all about. These polls are brought to you by the same entities that perpetrated the Russian Hoax and every other bullshit anti-Trump story. Do you really believe media outlets that bash Trump non-stop can produce unbiased polls?

It will be like last time. Trump is a President very few like to admit they like in public, but will vote for in private. There is no buzz on Biden. No one shows up at his outdoor rallies, 95% of trends he gets going are negative (health questions, various gaffs, etc....), anytime he's in the Twitter top 10, he's out of there quickly (Trump is there all day). Kamala is getting far more attention.

Also, the Latin vote is swinging more Trump, the months of democrats embracing the riots have hurt them bad. Also a lot more black males are digging Trump. Lots hate voting for an old White man, but Trump is seen as "realer".

As for the polls? Who gives a shit. Dewey Defeats Truman, Hilary defeats Donald, etc.....

Solid post.

This truly pathetic pandering is a sure sign that Biden is in trouble with the Hispanic vote:

Trump will win big on election night but then millions of mail in ballots will flood in all for Biden.  When most of those ballots are thrown out for being either too late or non verifiable addresses the left will use that to claim Trump is illegitimate and should be impeached.  More rioting and looting until the military is called in and then the media and left (same thing) will claim Trump is a dictator.

Is this for presidential elections only? Or every race that they poll? Is there any data to verify this in prior elections? Is this how Obama-McCain and Obama-Romney went down? I don’t recall. Forgive my skepticism but the author’s reference to the “demokkkrat” party makes me question his or her credibility somewhat.

The author is obviously biased. That doesn’t mean he’s wrong.

True. On the other hand, everyone knows the pollsters blew it in the 2016 presidential election. They concede as much and have even claimed to have changed their methodology. However, does that mean there is a provable conspiracy afoot as the author claims?
